Fish and plants purchase

In December, two Electric blue ram cichlids, one Anglefish (white) and corydoras died. In January, I bought new fish in the Sklorex store: one Ram cichlid (Mikrogeophagus ramirezi), two Electric blue ram cichlids (Mikrogeophagus ramirezi el. Blue), two Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare), three Goldstripe corydoras (Corydoras aeneus) and five Serpae tetras (Hyphessobrycon eques).

As usually, I placed them first in the quarantine aquarium for some time and then moved them to the main one.

On www.rostlinna-akvaria.cz I ordered new plants: Cryptocoryne balansae, Ludwigia sp. Super Red, Eleocharis parvulus,  Hemianthus callitrichoides and 3 green balls of Cladophora aegagropila. I had to make some space for the new plants; so I removed some Vallisenria, several Cryptocoryne walkeri lutea and one large Echinodorus as well. Cryptocoryne walkeri lutea has massive roots in the sand that needed to be removed. I also reduced the number of low cryptocoryne.

From the new plants, Hemianthus did not remained long in the sand. It has almost no roots and the fish pull the plants out. So, I left these plants afloat. I'll see if their roots get longer. Other plants are held in the sand. The green balls are the center of attention for the angelfish; they rip out pieces from them.
